Roasted Portobellos and goat cheese

This is a delicious recipe for mushrooms. A combination of pasta sauce, cheese, onions, and more, make this a wonderful addition to your meal.

1 cup pasta sauce
4 large portobello mushrooms (4-inch diameter)
1/3 cup cream cheese spread
1 ounce goat cheese or feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons finely chopped black olives (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour pasta sauce into a large shallow baking dish.

Clean portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth, remove stem and place gill side up in pasta sauce.

In small bowl combine cheese, onion, lemon juice, oregano and olives, if using. Season to taste with pepper.

Fill mushroom caps with cheese mixture. Bake 20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and cheese mixture is hot.
