Southwestern Skirt Steak Sandwich

Add a spicy tang to a skirt steak with this mouthwatering marinade.

2 lb. Skirt steak
12 oz. Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing
6 Kaiser Rolls, split & toasted
3 Chiles, poblano, roasted
9 oz. Onions, thinly sliced & sautéed
6 oz. Monterey Jack, sliced
4 oz. Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
4 oz. Hellmann’s® Real Ancho Chipotle Sauce

In large bowl, combine steak and Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing. Cover and marinate 1-2 hours.

Remove steak from marinade; pat dry. Discard remaining marinade.

Grill or broil steak until rare or medium-rare, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove to cutting surface; let stand 5 minutes. Slice thinly across the grain.

Meanwhile, prepare Ancho Chipotle Mayonnaise: In small bowl, combine Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise and Hellmann’s® Real Ancho Chipotle Sauce.

Spread cut sides of 1 roll evenly with 2.5 Tbsp. Ancho-Chipotle Mayonnaise. On bottom of roll, layer 4 oz. steak, ½ poblano, 1.5 oz. onion and 1 oz. cheese. Run briefly under broiler or salamander until cheese melts.

Replace top of roll; repeat to make 6 sandwiches. Serve immediately.
