Patate a sfinciuni (Potatoes with tomatoes and onions)

Potatoes kg. 1,
ripe tomatoes (or peeled) gr. 500,
onions 2,
oregano,
olive oil,
salt and pepper.

Cut potatoes in thin round slices and put them in a tin previously greased with oil. Alternate a layer of potatoes with sliced onions, peeled and seedless tomatoes, oil, salt, pepper and a lot of oregano.

Back on a moderate flame for about an hour, until potatoes get soft.
