Crescent Pecan Pie Breakfast Squares

1 8 ounce can crescent dough
1 egg
1/2 cup each, pecans, sugar and dark karo
1/2 tsp vanilla

Roll out dough, turn up edges and seal seams, bake 375 degrees for 5 minutes.

Mix rest of ingredients, pour on top and spread evenly, bake 15 to 20 minutes more, or until nice and brown. Let sit 5 minutes before cutting.
