Sweet Spicy Pickles

1 gallon of whole dill pickles
4 lbs sugar
3 oz Tabasco sauce
1 cup of liquid from pickles

Remove all pickles from the jar, and cut into bite size pieces and then returned back to the jar with no liquid. Pour the 4 lbs of sugar and the 3 oz of Tabasco sauce over the pickles. Then pour 1 cup of the liquid back on to the pickles, then, put lid back on tightly. Now for the next seven (7) days shack the jar and turned it back and forth, (returning it to the jars bottom,or it will leak). After the seven days, you can put the pickles into pint jars. They taste great after they have been chilled. Also, they make great Christmas gifts
