1/4 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup peach preserves
2 Tablespoons KARO light cornsyrup
2 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon LA CHOY soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/16 teaspoon ground ginger
Blend all ingredients in a blender. Empty into a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat to medium low, and simmer 5-7 minutes to thicken. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat, cover, and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate in an airtight container until needed.
YIELD: About 6 ounces, or 6 “packets” of McDonald’s sweet and sour sauce.
