1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
4 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2-1/2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon dried parsley leaves
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon coarse salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms, any style
1 cup sour cream
1 (12-ounce) package egg noodles

Cook noodles according to package directions. Set aside and keep warm.

In large skillet, brown ground beef and drain. Add onions and garlic; cook until onion has softened. Add butter and melt; add flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Slowly stir in beef broth. Add remaining ingredients, except the sour cream. Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in sour cream and heat through. Do not boil. Serve over cooked noodles.
