Cranberry Cracker Spread

250 ml fresh cranberries, finely chopped
2 green onions, thinly sliced
5 ml jalapeno pepper, seeded & minced
10 ml fresh cilantro, minced
7 ml fresh ginger, grated
115 g cream cheese, softened
30 ml sugar
10 ml fresh orange juice
5 ml orange zest, grated
30 ml walnuts, chopped

In a large bowl; mix cranberries, onions, pepper, cilantro and ginger.

Chill 2 to 3 hours.

Stir in softened cream cheese, sugar, orange juice and zest. Fold in the walnuts. Serve with assorted crackers.

Serves 4
