1 quart water
2 to 3 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 ( 20-ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
2 teaspoons chicken flavoring (or 2 bouillon cubes)
2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 pound American processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed
In a Dutch oven, combine the water, potatoes, onions, broccoli and chicken flavoring. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in the canned soups and cheese and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
