Three Flavors Soup

1/2 pound shrimp
5 cups chicken broth
1 (4-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon salt

Wash, shell, and clean shrimp.

In a kettle, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add the shrimp, sliced water chestnuts, chopped green onions, and salt. Reduce the heat and cook until the shrimp are pink.

Makes 4 servings.
