Super Chocolate Cake

1 stick butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
pinch salt
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 large can chocolate syrup
1 teasoon vanilla

TOPPING
1 stick butter
1/3 cup canned milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs; blend. Add chocolate syrup, flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla. Blend well. Bake in a well greased and floured 9 by 12 inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool. Spread with topping.

TOPPING
Bring butter, sugar and milk to a boil. Boil for 60 seconds. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and beat with electric mixer until smooth. Pour the hot topping over the cake.
