Makes for a smooth, luscious texture and nutmeats add crunch and flavor.
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
Melt peanut butter and butter in a medium saucepan, stirring constantly. Add nuts and stir to combine.
Remove from heat and sift in powdered sugar, stirring until well blended. Pat out in a 9 x 9 x2-inch pan; refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.
Makes 32 pieces.
