Quick and Easy Vanilla Fudge

1 box of powdered sugar (16 ounces)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 stick of butter (room temperature)

Put everything except the vanilla and nuts in a large bowl and top with the butter. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Add the vanilla and nuts and stir well for about 3 minutes. Sometimes, while stirring, I add a little more powdered sugar. Pour into a greased loaf pan or any kind of pan you have around, depending on whether you want thick or thin pieces. Chill in the refrigerator a couple of hours before slicing.
