17 ounces Can purple plums
1 each Medium onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons Butter or margarine
6 ounce Can frozen lemonade concentrate.
1/4 cup Chili sauce
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoons Prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Ground ginger
2 drops Tabasco sauce
6 pounds Pork spareribs
Cut spareribs into serving size portions, cover with water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours. Drain. Puree plums. Combine pureed plums, their juice and remaining ingredients, except spareribs. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Refrigerate.
Put ribs in baking pan, cover with sauce, bake at 425 F for about 1 hour. Baste often, turn at least once.
