50 ml olive oil 1/4 cup
25 ml butter 2 tbsp
1 kg yellow onions, roughly chopped 2 lb
2 ml salt 1/2 tsp
1ml pepper 1/4 tsp
500 g fettuccine 1 lb
parmesan cheese, grated
Combine oil and butter in large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and saute until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, cook pasta until al dente. Drain well. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve immediately with grated cheese.
