1 loaf Italian white bread, sliced
50 ml butter, softened 4 tbsp
2 cream cheese packages
90 ml mayonnaise 6 tbsp
6 green onions, chopped
125 ml parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 cup
Cut crusts from bread. Spread one side of each slice with softened butter. Cut into strips. Place all strips on a cookie sheet and toast lightly under broiler on both sides. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and green onions. Spread onto buttered side of bread. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Broil until brown and bubbly.
