1 onion, sliced & separated into rings
1.4 kg chicken pieces 3 lb
125 ml ketchup 1/2 cup
50 ml water 1/4 cup
5 ml Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp
5 ml vinegar 1 tsp
15 ml honey 1 tbsp
6 bacon strips
In a lightly greased baking dish; place onion rings. Place chicken on top of onions.
In a small bowl; combine ketchup, water, worcestershire sauce, vinegar and honey. Mix well.
Pour sauce evenly over chicken. Top with bacon slices. Bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for approximately 1 hour or until chicken juice runs clear and bacon is crisp. Baste once with sauce while baking.
