Onion Soup with Worcestershire

1/3 cup butter
4 onions, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 cups beef broth
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a large skillet melt butter. Sauté onion in butter until lightly brown. Add Worcestershire sauce and remove from heat.

In a large saucepan, combine broth, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in onion mixture and heat through.

Makes 4 servings.
