2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons peanut oil
2/3 pound broccoli, chopped
2/3 pound carrot, sliced
2/3 pound sirloin steak, sliced
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
In a small bowl combine cornstarch, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic cloves; mix well and set aside.
In a deep skillet, heat peanut oil and stir-fry chopped broccoli and sliced carrots for 2 minutes. Stir in sliced sirloin steak and cook 2 minutes more. Add the sauce and cook 1 to 1-1/2 minutes more. Garnish with chopped green onions.
