Glazed Turkey Burgers

15 ml prepared mustard 1 tbsp
15 ml cherry, apricot or peach 1 tbsp
1 egg, beaten
50 ml quick cooking rolled oats 1/4 cup
50 ml celery, finely chopped 1/4 cup
40 ml dried cherries or dried apricots, finely chopped (optional) 3 tbsp
salt & pepper to taste
500 g uncooked ground turkey 1 lb
4 hamburger buns, split
mayonnaise, lettuce leaves, tomato slices for topping

In a small bowl, stir together mustard and perserves. Set aside.

In medium bowl, combine egg, rolled oats, celery, dried fruit (if using), salt and pepper. Add ground turkey, mixing well. Shape into four patties.

Grill patties on BBQ grill over medium heat until cooked through, turning half way through cooking time. Brush with glaze during the last minute of grilling.

Serve burgers on warm hamburger buns. Brush any remaining glaze over burgers. Top with mayonnaise, lettuce and/or tomato slices.
