Creamy Onions and Potatoes

12 potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced
4 onions, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
25 ml butter, melted 2 tbsp
375 ml milk 1-1/2 cup
75 ml flour 1/3 cup
5 ml salt 1 tsp
1 ml pepper 1/4 tsp
50 ml fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 cup

Parboil potatoes for 2 minutes in salted water. Drain well and place in greased 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan. Saute onions and garlic in butter until soft, about 5 minutes, place over potatoes. Combine milk, flour, salt, pepper and parsley. Pour over top of vegetables. Bake, uncovered, at 375 F (190 C) for 1 hour.
