Creamy Italian Dressing

175 ml mayonnaise; or salad dressing
4 tablespoons soured cream
2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon dried basil; crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano; crushed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1-2 tablespoons milk; optional

Yield: 250 ml

In a small mixing bowl stir together the mayonnaise, soured cream, vinegar, mustard, basil, oregano, salt and garlic powder. Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Before serving, if necessary, stir in milk to make the dressing of the desired consistency.
