Creamy Broccoli Soup

1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 cups milk
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, diced
3/4 pound processed cheese spread, diced
1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a saucepan cook chopped onion in butter until tender.

Add milk and diced cream cheese. Stir over medium heat until the cream cheese is melted, stirring constantly.

Stir in diced processed cheese spread, chopped frozen broccoli, nutmeg, and pepper. Heat through.

Makes 8 servings.
