Creamed Tuna

50 ml butter 1/4 cup
50 ml flour 1/4 cup
salt & pepper to taste
500 ml milk 2 cup
1 can tuna, drained (8 oz / 225 g)
2 celery ribs, chopped
125 ml frozen peas, thawed 1/2 cup

In saucepan; melt butter over medium-low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 2 minutes or until smooth and bubbly. Gradually stir in milk while stirring constantly. Continue cooking and stirring until mixture thickens and begins to bubble.

Add tuna, celery and peas. Continue heating and stirring until hot. Serve over toast or biscuits.
