Company Carrots

2 lbs baby carrots or medium carrots, quartered
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt

Place the carrots in an ungreased 9 inch square baking dish. Add water; dot with butter. Sprinkle with oregano and salt. Cover and bake at 325oF for 1-1/4 hours or until tender.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

PER SERVING: One 1/2 cup serving (prepared with margarine) 67 cal, 168 mg sodium, 0 chol, 8 gm carb, 1 gm pro, 4 gm fat
