Christmas Almond Pound Cake

1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounce can almond paste
3 large eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
2-1/2 cups flour
1/2 to 3/4 cup milk

Blend margarine, butter and sugar together.
Add almond and vanilla extracts and almond paste.
Combine until thoroughly mixed.
Add eggs and beat again, then add sour cream, baking powder and salt.
Beat until smooth.
Add flour and slowly add milk until mixture is thick, yet smooth.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan, then bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly touched.
Cool for one hour and transfer to a plate.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Also great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
