Chinese Style Tomato Pepper Curry

1 green pepper, cut in 1 inch chunks
1 large onion, cut in 1 inch chunks
2 ripe tomatoes, cut in 1 inch chunks, or 1 can chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons Chinese curry powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon 5-spice powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Stirfry the pepper and onion in the oil in a nonstick wok. Add the tomatoes and 1 cup water or add the canned tomatoes with the juice. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Serve with rice.

Variations
Add stirfried flank steak or fish or shrimp.
