Chevy’s Fresh Mex Restaurant Salsa

1 pound tomatoes
1/2 onion
2 jalapenos
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cilantro

Char the tomatoes, onion and jalapenos on a hot pan or griddle. Put charred ingredients in blender. Add in pepper, salt and cilantro. Blend until smooth.
