Burgundy Burgers

Fire up the grill for these upscale burgers. Take our advice and you’ll have dinner on the table in less than half an hour with no pots or pans to clean.

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
6 hamburger buns, toasted

Preheat broiler or grill.

In a large mixing bowl mix together beef, wine, onion, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, pepper and garlic salt. Shape into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.

Broil or grill over hot coals, turning once, until cooked through, 10 to 15 minutes. Serve on buns with your favorite fixings.

Makes 6 servings.
