Barbecue Sauce – Norine Juenger – Lenzburg

16 ounces Tomato Sauce
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Vinegar
2 tablespoons WORCHESTERSHIRE Sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onion Tops
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Mix all ingredients in Large saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.

Makes 2-1/2 cups.

While there was no indication, I would expect that this is best with Pork, since the idea of ‘Barbecue’ in that area was nearly always pork.
