1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup sliced green onion tops
1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until translucent. Add rice, barbecue sauce, green onion tops, cilantro, garlic powder and liquid smoke. Cook until thoroughly heated.
Serve with barbecued chicken breast, sliced pork or beef.
Makes 6 servings.
