Asparagus Italian Style

250 g fine egg noodles 8 oz
1 garlic clove, peeled
500 g fresh asparagus, sliced 1 lb
15 ml vegetable oil 1 tbsp
1/2 green pepper, cut in strips 1/2
1/2 red pepper, cut in strips 1/2
250 ml fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 cup
salt & pepper to taste
125 ml swiss cheese, grated 1/2 cup
125 ml parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 cup

Cook noodles as directed on package, adding the clove of garlic to the cooking water. Drain, discard the clove of garlic and rinse noodles under cold water.

Steam asparagus. Meanwhile; saute peppers and mushrooms in oil until tender. Mix noodles with sauteed vegetables, steamed asparagus, seasonings and cheeses. Serve immediately.
