7 to 8 qt. apple pulp
2 qt. sweet cider or 12 oz.
frozen concentrated apple juice
4 to 5 cups honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Place apple pulp in shallow roaster pan; cook 1 hour and add sweet cider, honey and salt. Cook in oven about 2 to 3 hours. Add just before end of cooking period cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. When cooked to wanted thickness, pour into hot sterile jars and seal. Process in water bath.
