Tired of the same old burgers? Try these salsa and taco seasoned Ortega Burgers with tasty green chile mayonnaise. Serve with crunchy tortilla chips and your favorite flavor of Perrier.
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (16-ounce) jar ORTEGA Salsa – Homestyle Recipe (Mild), divided use
2 large eggs
1 (1.25-ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 (4-ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
12 hamburger buns, warmed
COMBINE beef, 3/4 cup salsa, eggs and seasoning mix in large bowl. Shape into 12 burgers.
PLACE mayonnaise and green chiles in blender; cover. Blend until almost smooth.
GRILL or broil burgers, turning once, until no longer pink in center. Serve on buns topped with green chile mayonnaise and remaining salsa.
