Delicious, when paired with Bella Sera® Pinot Grigio
3 Medium heads fennel, trimmed and sliced into thin strips
1/4 cup Olive oil
1 Lemon, squeezed for juice
1 tablespoon Honey
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
4 tablespoons Slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup Parmesan Reggiano, shaved
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper. Add fennel slices, then toss together gently. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and garnish with shaved cheese.
