Approximately 3 pounds round steak
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom
1 package dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Cut round steak into serving sizes. Sprinkle the meat with garlic powder and pepper.
Place meat in a slow-cooker or crockpot and add onion, mushroom soup, soup mix and water. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
When done, remove meat. Measure remaining liquid. For each cup of liquid add 2 tablespoons flour, up to 1/4 cup. Stir until smooth and cook until thick, about 4 minutes. Serve hot.
