2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
2 (14 ounces) cans tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon oregano
2 (7 ounces) cans tuna
8 ounces lasagna noodles
2 cups cottage cheese
2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 deg. F. Butter a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Melt butter in large saucepan; saute onion and garlic until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar and oregano. Simmer covered 20 minutes. Add tuna. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain well. Layer half the noodles, tuna sauce, cottage cheese and Mozzarella Cheese in prepared casserole. Repeat layers, topping with Mozzarella. Bake in preheated oven 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
