225 g sausages, cut in large chunks
50 ml butter
225 g fresh mushrooms, sliced
175 ml celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
5 ml poultry seasoning
2 ml salt
1 ml pepper
1.5 L unseasoned croutons or dry bread cubes
750 ml chicken broth
In a large skillet; brown sausage. Drain well. Add butter, mushrooms, celery and onion to skillet. Saute 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is tender. Add poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Transfer to a large bowl; add croutons and enough broth to moisten.
Place mixture in a greased 2 quart (2 L) casserole dish. Cover and bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 additional minutes.
