2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
5 ml sugar
5 ml vinegar
5 ml salt
2 ml dried basil
2 ml dried thyme
15 ml soy sauce
15 ml Worcestershire sauce
15 ml chili powder
50 ml water
7 ml corn starch
In a large skillet; heat small amount of oil. Add garlic, onion, pepper and celery. Saute until onion is translucent. Add tomatoes with juice.
Add sugar, vinegar, salt, basil, thyme, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix cornstarch with water and add to skillet. Heat through adjusting flavours accordingly.
