Quick Caramel Sauce

2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoon butter
1 cup cream
pinch of salt

Place all ingredients into a saucepan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon. The sauce keeps well in the refrigerator. It may need to be reheated and thinned a little with extra milk.

Makes about 2 cups.
