Prime Rib Roast Basic Roasting Directions

1. Place roast, fat side up, on rack in open pan.

2. Season to taste, do not salt.

3. Do not add liquid, do not cover.

4. Insert meat thermometer into center of roast, avoiding fat or bone.

5. Roast Prime Rib at 325oF (160oC)

(IT=Internal Temperature)

Rare 20 min/lb IT 140oF (60oC)

Med 25 min/lb IT 160oF (70oC)

Well 30 min/lb IT 170oF (75oC)
