Three simple ingredients–Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, and fennel seed–turn ordinary bread into pizza! For a zippy lunch with pizzazz, try it in your next grilled cheese sandwich.
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup finely chopped pepperoni
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking oil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
Add the ingredients to the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. Select the basic white bread cycle. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 16 servings.
NOTE:
The bread machine pan must have a capacity of 10 cups or more.
