25 ml butter 2 tbsp
250 ml fresh peas 1/2 lb
pinch of sugar
50 ml water 1/4 cup
1 small butter head lettuce, cut into fine strips
salt & pepper to taste
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add peas, sugar and water and cook just until tender, about 2 minutes.
Add lettuce and toss over the heat until just wilted. Season lightly with salt and pepper and serve.
