Pawpaw Pie

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup pawpaw pulp (peeled and seeded)

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stir together. Cook over medium heat until thickened.

Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350*F. until the crust is done.

Makes 6 servings.
