8 medium onions
175 ml white sugar 3/4 cup
125 ml water 1/2 cup
125 ml vinegar 1/2 cup
250 ml mayonnaise 1 cup
10 ml celery salt 2 tsp
salt & pepper to taste
Slice onions thinly and put in large bowl. Cover with sugar, water and vinegar. Let sit overnight in fridge. Drain well and add mayonnaise, celery salt, salt and pepper.
