500 g round steak, cut in strips 1 lb
125 ml spicy steak sauce 1/2 cup
30 ml lime or lemon juice 2 tbsp
5 ml garlic, minced 1 tsp
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
1 large red pepper, cut into strips
1 large onion, cut into strips
flour tortillas, warmed
250 ml mozzarella cheese, grated 1 cup
125 ml salsa 1/2 cup
Coat beef with a mixture of steak sauce, lime juice and garlic. Let stand. Heat a large oiled skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef. Stir-fry beef until lightly browned and sauce has thickened slightly. Remove beef. Saute peppers and onion until tender crisp. Return beef to pan. Toss with vegetables. Wrap in flour tortillas, serve with cheese and salsa.
