2 teaspoon very finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Hot red pepper flakes, optional
1/2 cup olive oil
1 (16 ounce) package thin spaghetti
salt
Sauté garlic, parsley and pepper flakes to taste in olive oil over low heat until garlic becomes a rich golden color, about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain. Add oil and garlic mixture to drained pasta. Toss to coat.
