Mulled Apple Cider

2 cinnamon sticks (3-inches each)
12 whole cloves
12 whole allspice
2 qt. fresh apple cider

Tie spices in cheesecloth. Pour cider into a large saucepan. Add cheesecloth spice bag. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove bag and serve hot.

Makes 8 cups.

NOTE:
Make a couple of bags, tie on 2 quart cider bottle. It makes a great gift from the kitchen!
