Low Fat Chocolate Apple Bars

1 cup minus 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 small apple, peeled, cored finely chopped
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons raisins
3 ounces oats
1 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat 350 F. Spray 11″ x 7″ pan. Combine both flours, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside. Beat sugar and margarine till fluffy. Gradually add flour, alternating with applesauce till blended. Stir in rest of ingredients. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Cut into 8 bars.
