2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup flour
Grated rind of 1 lemon
Mix flour with powdered sugar; cut in butter as for pie crust. Press into bottom of a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. In a small bowl with electric mixer, beat eggs until light. Gradually beat in sugar. Add lemon juice. Sift flour with baking powder, add to batter with rind. Beat until blended. Pour into hot crust. Return to oven, bake 25 minutes longer.
Cool; sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar.
